Joan's hand painted art tiles are excellent for enlivening a residential, commercial, or corporate project -
anything from a single tile to a large mural.  Use hand painted art tiles to make a luscious back splash, border frieze, or mural. Hang one or more tiles on the wall as you would other artwork, prop a tile on a shelf for a splash of interest, use a tile on the table as a trivet. Design elements can be combined and expanded into a mural, large or small, for installation or framing. |
Tiles with hand painted designs can be set intermittently into a background of field tiles painted in a complementary or matching color. See the Reception Desk at Yoga Mandali Studio for which I created both the design tiles and the background tiles. For the Kitchen with Lobster Tiles, my customers purchased commercial field tiles in a complementary color and had their tile man set my lobster tiles and switch plates among them in an artful pattern. |

I charge half the price of the design tile for each background tile hand painted to match or complement. I can also paint or silkscreen your business name or logo on tiles to hang on the wall or install. Designs can be developed for almost any location where you desire beauty and durability.
